Arthritis Essentials - Getting Started
Thank you for choosing Arthritis Essentials® to further develop your professional skills in arthritis and related musculoskeletal conditions.
Enrolling in Arthritis Essentials® takes 3 easy steps:
Step 1: Obtain a Unique Student Identifier (USI)
If you don’t already have one, you will need to obtain a Unique Student Identifier (USI). Creating a USI will only take a few minutes and is free. To obtain a USI and/or find out more, visit www.usi.gov.au. You will need to have some ID (such as a Drivers Licence, Medicare Card, Australian Passport, Visa, Australian Birth Certificate) ready when you sign up. Please keep your USI safe. You will need your USI to complete your enrolment.
Step 2: Create a login/account
From the Home page of the Arthritis Essentials® online learning portal click on the blue login or create account button. This takes you to the Log in page. Click on the green Create new account button, choose a username and password, fill in your details and click on the green Create my new account button. An email will be sent to your email address. Read this and click on the web link it contains. Your account will be confirmed and you will be logged in.
Step 3: Complete your enrolment / payment
Under the Home tab choose Arthritis Essentials®. On the next page check that Arthritis Essentials® is shown under Enrolment options and that the payment details are correct. Then click on the green Send payment via PayPal link to process your payment. Note, there is no need to have a PayPal account, instead choose Pay with a credit or debit card. After your payment has been accepted you will have access to the Arthritis Essentials® online learning unit.
